Path to Purchase Institute members receive access to regularly updated retailer profiles, which can be found here. Recent updates include expanded retail media offerings from Walmart and Target.

Instacart's TV Dinners

The platform has a dedicated brand page and shoppable recipes both online and via its app, with culinary inspiration from Apple+ limited series "Lessons in Chemistry."

Walmart Connect Academy

The retailer's omnichannel offering has a certification program that lets advertisers, partners and agencies learn ways to maximize Walmart Connect's potential while also earning credentials for retail media expertise.

Full Stream Ahead

Best Buy revealed that the 2023 holiday season will be the end to its selling of DVDs and Blu-ray discs. Streaming has overtaken the market, so the retailer will devote store and warehouse space to more in-demand products.

Target Expands Retail Media

The retailer is expanding its Roundel retail media on several fronts, including more shoppable connected TV offerings and the nascent Roundel Media Studio, a one-stop spot for advertisers, brands and agencies to plan, activate and measure their campaigns.

New Leadership

Dollar General, Rite Aid, Costco and Walgreens recently named new CEOs (or in Dollar General's case, the retailer is bringing back a familiar face). Target and CVS also have C-level changes afoot.

Circle K Spread

The convenience store chain has growth in mind, with plans to add hundreds of stores in the next few years.
