Hershey Co. is operating a Halloween showcase within amazon.com. Multiple display ads running throughout the website link to the showcase, some proclaiming: "Running out is spooky. Stock up on your Hershey's favorites."

A "Hershey's Halloween" leaderboard ad headlining the showcase depicts a mom in a mummy costume holding a tray of Hershey's, Reese's and Kit Kat bars. Underneath is an array of "Add to Cart" buttons for Hershey confectionery — much of it in variety packs — grouped for "party planning," "trick or treat" and "treats for me." The showcase also links to Prime Now, Prime Pantry and Amazon Fresh pages.

Amazon pulled in $13 million in candy sales in October 2017, up from $8.5 million in October 2016, according to One Click retail.
