Sam’s Club is using social media to position itself as a destination for guest room renovations this summer.
At the center of the effort are the retailer’s exclusive Dreamfinity mattress toppers and bed pillows. The line spans 10 SKUs designed with Hydraluxe gel technology from manufacturer Comfort Revolution.
Sam’s Club enlisted heavy influencer support to promote the Dreamfinity line. Sponsored posts on numerous parenting, couponing and lifestyle blogs explain how the products, as well as private label Member’s Mark sheet sets and Hotel Premier Collection bath and hand towels, can make guest bedrooms comfier for summer visitors.
Bloggers shared the posts on Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest using the hashtag #SummerHomeBySams.
Dedicated accounts for the Dreamfinity brand on all three platforms also have been posting updates using summer themes to plug the line throughout the last few months.
Some of the updates from bloggers and the brand link to a “summer bedding and bath” e-commerce page within samsclub.com that sorts the aforementioned SKUs by in-store and online availability.
