Design of the Times 2016 Winners

The Path to Purchase Institute announced the winners of the 2016 Design of the Times Awards competition at a special reception Sept. 21 during the Path to Purchase Expo in Chicago. LG Electronics took home the "Best of the Times" award for its Best Buy TV Experience Wall produced by Design Phase.Download the list of winners: Institute members have exclusive access to contest images and full contest declarations linked below.Final judging to determine which entries received gold, platinum or Best of the Times awards took place Sept. 20 on the Expo show floor, with the winners announced at the Design of the Times Awards Reception and Ceremony the following night. All winners are showcased in the Design of the Times Gallery on the Expo show floor.Design of the Times judges convened July 14 at the Path to Purchase Institute headquarters in Chicago for first-round judging of the nearly 250 entries competing in the 21st annual competition, which celebrates the most inspiring and creative in-store campaigns and tactics of the previous year. The judges selected 130 entries to vie for the top awards in the competition's eight retail channels: consumer electronics, convenience, drug, home centers/hardware, mass merchants, specialty,
