Establishes Novartis as a leading Shopper Marketing partner in the eyes of our customers and accelerates Novartis category and brand growth by developing and deploying key shopper insights and strategic shopper selling platforms/programs for our channels/customer teams to activate at retail. Scope includes Novartis OTC and cross Divisions/Business Units (e.g., Pharma, Vaccines & Diagnostics etc.).
Major Accountabilities:
ο Establishes a Center of Excellence for shopper insights and solutions for field Sales use. This would include knowledge-based content and concepts/programs for retail activation.
ο Links category/brand shopper insights with channel/customer specific insights to develop shopper and retailer relevant programs that build category and brand sales, brand equity, and shopper loyalty.
ο Integrates shopper insights and shopper-driven approach to category management efforts in field.
ο Leads shopper research and technology efforts to synthesize and convert data into actionable insights for field Sales use.
ο Leads “Innovation Lab” for field Sales use.
ο Provide collaborative leadership with multiple groups including Brand Marketing, Marketing Research and Marketing agencies.
Minimum Requirements:
ο Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred
ο 10+ years of classical Marketing and Sales experience within the CPG industry.
ο Significant experience in at least two of the following areas: Brand Mgt, Account Mgt, Category Mgt, Customer Marketing.
ο 3-5 years of direct management.
